Il y a 15 ans sortait le 1er album “Ne Dorment Jamais” du duo de MC & beatmakers Les Enfants Rois. L’anniversaire de cet OVNI du hip-hop français a été l’opportunité d’une plongée dans les profondeurs de disques durs poussiéreux, pour y déterrer quelques pépites inédites du groupe et des extraits d’un de leur rares concerts, accompagnés du pianiste et du saxophoniste du live band hip-hop No Soma. Le projet “ALMANAC 2004-2008 : Les Pages Perdues” est un trip dans le temps, qui, on l’espère, vous fera patienter - et saliver ? - en attendant un retour vers le futur des Enfants Rois pour un 2eme opus…à la sauce Trueflav Records.

15 years ago, the MCs/beatmakers duo Les Enfants Rois released their 1st album, “Ne Dorment Jamais” (never sleep). The anniversary of that French Hip-Hop oddity has given them the opportunity to take a deep dive into dusty hard drives to unearth a few unreleased gems and rare recordings of their live performances with keyboard et saxophone players from hip-hop live band No Soma.The project “ALMANAC 2004-2008 : Les Pages Perdues” (the lost pages) is a trip to the past that will hopefully make you wait and long for the trip back to the future of Les Enfants Rois’ 2nd opus…Trueflav Records’ style.
